Languages for Web

Programming for the web involves two types:Client-Side Scripting Server-Side Scripting Languages required for Client-Side Scripting HTML - HyperText Markup Language :-  HTML elements form the basic blocks of websites. HTML embeds images and objects. It creates a structure for documents where headings, paragraphs, links can be instilled. It also embeds scripts such as JavaScript which control the behavior of HTML web pages. HTML 5 is the latest version. CSS - Cascading Style Sheets :- CSS is primarly used to design the look and feel of the web pages. CSS elements form the key for assessing the color, texture and font. These elements can be controlled using CSS. CSS 3 is the latest version. JavaScript :- JavaScript is a dynamic, multi-paradigm and object-oriented scripting language for web browsers. JavaScript forms the core of any modern website. They control the behavior of web pages with various objects. jQuery :- jQuery is a JavaScript library designed to simplify the client-side scripting. Languages for Server-Side Scripting Python :- Python is a high-level programming language. It's a dynamic and object-oriented programming language. Python has a large collection of standard library making it one of the most powerful language. PHP :- Hypertext Preprocessor. It's also a dynamic and object-oriented programming language. PHP code can be embedded in an HTML document, it can be used with templating engines and web frameworks. Other Popular Server-Side Scripting languages are Perl, ASP.NET, Java, Ruby.
